Abstractions
“Abstractions” is an iphone application that lets you create endless dramatic abstractions from your photos. It is a great way to create great artwork from any photo.
Abstractions Lite is the basic free version, which creates a new random abstraction from any photo each time you press the “abstract” button. You can then save your abstraction and share it. Try the Lite version for free.
The full version of the application gives you full control over the abstraction process and let you create unlimited abstraction effects from any photos. It’s all up to your artistic creativity.
How to use “Abstractions”:
Choose a photo from your photo album or capture one using the phone camera.
Press abstract to generate an abstract effect of the photo.
Press save to save your.
Email (Full version only): you can email your art to any friend directly from the application.
Abstract Controls: (Full Version only) In the full version you can control three sliders to have full control of your art abstraction. You can generate many different abstractions from the same image by moving these sliders. Press the setting button to get to the control screen where you can control the following slider:
Border effect slider: this slider lets you control how much border highlights are blended to the photos. Thick borders give bold dramatic effect to your photo. The slider also controls the color of the imposed boarder. Bring your slider to the right and you can add light to thick white borders and to the left and you can add light to thick black borders.
Color effect slider: this slider lets you control the color abstraction level from no color abstraction at all to extreme color abstraction. Bring this slider all the way to the right and it generates photo sketch effect.
Smoothness slider: this slider lets you control how much details you like to keep or smooth away in your abstraction. In combination with the other two sliders, you can have full control of your art.
